The Mill is a thriving arts hub comprising 57 artist studios, 2 visual arts galleries, a performing arts space, a photography studio, a tools workshop, a kitchen and meeting rooms. Our venue houses around 60 resident artists and regularly hosts art events, exhibitions, showings and more.
We are seeking volunteers to support our Venue and Events Manager with a wide range of activities in and around our spaces, as well as alongside our diverse artistic community.
Experiences:
Become immersed in an artistic community and grow your creative networks.
Understand the day-to-day operations of an arts venue and gain work experience.
Make a difference in the lives of local artists.
About you:
Do you have 4-8 hours per week (or per fortnight) and want to make a difference in the arts community
Would you like to develop your arts experience and make new industry connections?
Are you helpful and physically fit? (There will be some lifting, reaching, stretching, twisting, turning and problem-solving!)
